Making a Deposit

For Special Attention

account = the bank's record of how much of his money they have. — 银行记录他在该行存有多少钱的账目。
deposit / withdraw = when you deposit money, you put it into the account; if you take money out, you withdraw it — or make a withdrawal. — 把钱放进账户叫存款（deposit）；从账户取钱叫取款（withdraw），也说 make a withdrawal。
deposit slip = a kind of form — a piece of paper with spaces for certain information. — 一种表格，即一张留有空白供填写特定信息的纸。
fill out a form = to write information in the spaces. — 在表格的空白处写上信息。
passbook / statement = Paul uses a passbook at his bank, but some banks use a different system — they send customers a statement every month to tell them how much is in their account. — 保罗在银行用存折；但有些银行用另一种方式，每月寄一份对账单告诉客户账户余额。
teller = a bank worker who helps people put money into their accounts and take it out. — 银行里帮人存钱、取钱的工作人员。
