For Special Attention

steam = you put it above—but not in—boiling water. The steam rises and cooks the food. — 把食物放在沸水上方——但不浸入水中。蒸汽上升将食物蒸熟。
slice = to cut something into thin, flat pieces, using a smooth and gentle cutting motion — 把食物切成薄而平的片,动作平滑轻柔。
chop = to cut something into pieces that are not flat and thin, cutting forcefully — 把食物切成不平不薄的块,动作有力。
