For Special Attention

sidewalk = a paved (concrete) place for walking — 铺好(混凝土)供人行走的地方,即人行道。
traffic = the group of cars, trucks, buses, bikes, etc., on a street — 街道上的汽车、卡车、公交车、自行车等车辆的总称。
take a shortcut = to use a shorter way than the usual way — 走比平常更近的路。
pedestrian = someone who is walking — 正在走路的人,即行人。
overpass = a bridge for passing over the street — 横跨街道上方供人通过的桥,即人行天桥。
