At the Fast Food Restaurant

Jenny stood in line...

At the counter, she ordered her food and a drink.

The clerk put the food on Jenny's tray, and Jenny paid her.

Jenny took some paper napkins and a straw from the dispensers.

She ate her lunch at her table.

Other people got their food to go.

When she finished eating, she threw the empty wrappers in the trash.

menu = in a fast-food restaurant, the menu is usually on a large board on the wall. — 快餐店里，菜单通常挂在墙上的大牌子上。

for here = Jenny orders her food "for here." That means she will eat it in the restaurant. — Jenny 点 for here，意思是在店里吃。

to go = people who get their food to go will eat it outside the restaurant; you can also say "to take away" or "to take out." — to go 是带走吃，也可说 to take away 或 to take out。

wrappers = are paper or boxes that go around the food to keep it fresh until it's eaten. — 包裹食物的纸或盒子，保持食物新鲜。
