At the Birthday Party

wrapping present
Before the party, I wrap a present for my friend...

...and sign a card for him.

For Special Attention

present = is a gift for a special occasion (a birthday, Christmas, etc.). — 特殊场合送的礼物（生日、圣诞节等）。
wrap a present = you wrap a present in wrapping paper. — 用包装纸把礼物包起来。
open a present = by taking off the wrapping paper. — 把包装纸拆开。
light a candle = by making the wick burn. — 让灯芯燃烧。
blow out a candle = the fire stops burning. — 火熄灭。
