peel = when you peel a fruit or vegetable, you take off its skin. Afterwards, the skin that has been taken off is called "a peel" or "peelings." Slices of bread are also called "pieces" of bread. — 给水果或蔬菜削皮就是去掉皮，削下的皮叫 peel 或 peelings。面包片也叫 pieces of bread。
slice = to slice something is to cut it into thin, flat pieces — slice 就是把某物切成薄而平的片。
