For Special Attention

TV = a short way of saying "television" — television（电视）的简写。
boring = if a show is boring, it is not interesting — 如果节目 boring，意思是它没意思、不好看。
commercial = advertising on TV or radio — 电视或广播里的广告。
news = a report about what has happened; it always has an "s" at the end — 关于已发生事件的报道。词尾总是带 s。
channels / stations = TVs have channels while radios have stations — 电视用 channels（频道），广播用 stations（电台）。
remote = also called a "remote control" — 也叫 remote control（遥控器）。
