For Special Attention

dish soap = also called "detergent" — 也叫 detergent(洗涤剂)。
scrub = to rub very hard and for a long time as you wash something — 洗的时候用力地、长时间地搓擦。
down the drain = water that goes down the drain is gone; used to mean "wasted" or "gone" — 流进下水道的水就消失了。因此用来表示"白费了"或"付诸东流"。
