Eating Breakfast

Pam and Dan sit down at the table.

Pam drinks some coffee from her mug...

...and eats some cereal.

Dan drinks some tea...

...and has an egg with bacon and toast.

Sometimes, he dips his toast into the yolk of his egg.

As they eat, they read the paper...

...and talk a little bit.

After eating, they wipe their lips with their napkins...

...and leave the table.

the paper = the paper means "the newspaper" — the paper 指"报纸"。

a little bit = some, but not very much — 有一些，但不太多。

sit down / sit = first you sit down; then you sit — 先"坐下"（sit down），然后才是"坐着"（sit）。

mug = a mug is a large cup with a handle — mug 是带把手的大杯子。

sit at the table = Pam and Dan sit at the table. They sit in or on chairs. — 帕姆和丹坐在餐桌旁，他们坐在椅子上。

dip = you dip a solid into a liquid by putting it in for only a short time — dip 就是把固体短时间地浸入液体中。
