Brushing Your Teeth

Jenny runs some water over her toothbrush.

She squeezes toothpaste onto her toothbrush.

She moves her toothbrush up and down...

...and back and forth.

To rinse her mouth, she takes some water,...

...swishes it back and forth in her mouth...

...and spits it into the sink.

She rinses off her toothbrush.

Then she puts it back in the toothbrush rack.

pulling out a long piece of floss,...

...slipping it between her teeth...

...and moving it back and forth and up and down.

run water over = use water from a faucet or pipe and let it flow away after hitting the thing — 用水龙头或水管的水冲洗某物，让水冲过之后流走。

back and forth = go from one side to another (left and right) many times — 从一侧到另一侧反复来回移动。

up and down = go in these directions (up and down) many times — 向上和向下反复移动。

slip = move it gently into a small space — 把某物轻轻塞进狭小的空间。
